Job summary

Oxleas Tree Care is seeking an Arboriculture Manager to lead safe, efficient and sustainable arboriculture operations in London and the South-East. You will oversee in-house teams and contractors, ensuring work complies with industry standards and health and safety requirements.

The role combines hands-on tree work with people leadership, contract management and excellent customer service, offering opportunities to improve processes, safety culture and project delivery across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Significant arboricultural operations experience and risk management.
• Experience supervising employees and contractors.
• Knowledge of BS3998 and health and safety requirements.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice, information and quotations to commercial and domestic clients.
• Lead arborists and contractors to deliver safe, high-standard tree work.
• Conduct quality and safety audits on teams and subcontractors.
• Hold regular 1-1s and mentor arborists with guidance.
• Support operations by performing tree work with a crew when needed.
• Foster a positive safety culture and ensure safe systems of work.
