Job summary
PHINIA, in partnership with Hartridge Ltd, is seeking an Applications Engineer to drive fuel injection test solutions from concept to completion. The role is hands-on in a development workshop and office setting, with responsibilities spanning specs writing, data analysis, and formal project discussions.

Qualifications
- Degree-qualified engineer with 3+ years experience in engineering environment.
- Alternative: HNC/HND in an engineering discipline.
- Full UK driving licence
- Eligible to work in the UK
Responsibilities
- Lead Engineer on Hartridge R&D projects.
- Develop functional specifications and concepts delivering new products and accessories.
- Design and execute experiments to validate/verify new machine/control concepts.
- Write project technical documentation (specifications, timing plans, acceptance tests, user manuals).
- Liaise with internal and external customers to ensure requirements are met.
