Job summary

PHINIA is seeking an Engineer to design and develop diesel high-pressure fuel injection components. You will run tests on rigs and engines, perform root cause analyses, and support project objectives with data-driven decisions.

Strong communication skills and fluency in English are required, along with hands-on dismantling and reassembly of mechanical parts. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering and proficiency with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint/SharePoint are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop diesel high-pressure pump fuel injection components.
• Conduct test/analysis on rigs, engines and vehicles; present results to audiences.
• Perform root cause analysis on failures and document findings.
• Coordinate procurement and testing of sample hardware for projects.
• Create and refine simulation models to support development.
• Develop and use test equipment and instrumentation for validation.
• Interpret test data and report findings to project teams.
• Define and execute test plans aligning with project objectives.
• Assess designs using DFMEA to improve robustness.
• Analyze data to recommend further testing or product improvements.
