Job summary

NMS Recruit Ltd t/a Russell Taylor Group in Milton Keynes is seeking a Senior Fuel & Engine Test Engineer to lead fuel and propulsion testing projects on site Monday to Friday.

You will manage hands-on testing using dynamometers and data acquisition systems, develop test plans, analyse data and deliver detailed reports while mentoring technicians and engineers.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in fuel/engine testing within automotive settings.
• Ability to lead testing projects from planning to completion.
• Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and coordinating teams.
• Customer-facing engineering experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver fuel and propulsion testing projects from initial planning through to completion.
• Develop detailed test plans to meet customer and project requirements.

Senior Fuel & Engine Test Engineer

Milton Keynes- Monday to Friday (onsite)

£45-60,000 per annum

Are you an experienced Fuel or Engine Test Engineer looking to take the lead on technically challenging testing projects?

We are looking for a Senior Engineer with hands-on experience in fuel and engine testing to join a highly respected testing organisation. You will lead the delivery of complex testing programmes, work directly with customers and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, all while remaining technically involved.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge propulsion and powertrain testing within a modern laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

The Person

• Previous industrial hands-on experience in fuel testing within an automotive setting.
• Strong understanding of engine or propulsion system test facilities.
• Experience using dynamometers, sensors and data acquisition systems.
• Ability to analyse technical data and produce detailed reports.
• Experience leading or coordinating engineering test projects.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Degree in Mechanical, Automotive or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience working in a customer-facing engineering or product development environment.
• Previous mentoring or leadership experience.
