Job summary

Spinwell Global Limited is recruiting a Lead Application Analyst for an excellent opportunity within the public sector, based in Birmingham. You will take ownership of design, configuration, build, and testing of assigned application modules, acting as the primary point of contact for users and ensuring issues are resolved in line with policy and operational requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent level in management/IT.
• Masters in IT/Business or equivalent.
• Prince 2 or willingness to obtain.
• Epic certification or EPR configuration qualification.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development.
• Knowledge of NHS clinical/operational workflows.
• Proven managerial experience including line management.
• Specialist Taurus and digital services knowledge including Epic certification.
• Strong analytical and project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, configuration, build, and testing of assigned application modules.
• Act as primary contact for users and manage issues per client policies.
• Collaborate with Delivery Manager/Deputy to plan system changes and improvements.
• Participate in Taurus team management meetings and strategic discussions.
• Engage with clinicians and staff to understand needs and ensure effective communication.
• Assist teams in documenting and implementing clinical best practices and workflows.

Pay Rate to Intermediary: 25.39 per hour + holidays + pension

About the Role

Spinwell is recruiting for a Lead Application Analyst for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the design, configuration, build, and testing of assigned application modules.
• Act as a primary contact for application users, ensuring that issues are managed and resolved in line with client policies, procedures, and operational requirements.
• Collaborate with the Delivery Manager and Deputy Delivery Manager to identify, plan, and implement agreed system changes and improvements.
• Participate actively in Taurus team management meetings, contributing to strategic planning and operational discussions.
• Engage with clinicians, specialists, and other relevant staff to understand and analyse their needs, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Assist teams in developing, documenting, and implementing clinical best practices, future workflows, and application optimisations.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Degree or equivalent level of relevant management experience. (eg business, IT)
• Higher professional clinical or management degree or equivalent.
• Masters degree (eg in IT/Business) or willingness to work towards or equivalent relevant experience
• Prince 2 or willingness to work towards
• Evidence of on-going professional development.
• Certification in one or more Epic applications other EPR configuration qualification. (Equivalent to a postgraduate qualification)
• Good knowledge and understanding of NHS clinical, administrative and operational workflows
• Proven managerial experience. including line management
• Specialist knowledge across a wide range of subject areas relating to Taurus and digital services including Epic certification.
• Management skills in a complex health care setting
• Proven business analytical skills and knowledge of budget management, business case development, financial planning and benefits realisation
• Exceptional analytical and project management skills
