Job summary

Finom is seeking a Lead Analytics Engineer for Finance to partner with treasury, reconciliation and accounting teams, building scalable data models and trusted data products. You will set standards, integrate systems, and introduce automation to save manual work, reporting to the Head of Central Data.

You will shape the finance data model and metrics, ensure data quality, and collaborate with a corporate finance data partner on investor reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience as a finance data partner or in FP&A data work.
• Knowledge of close, cash and liquidity reporting processes.
• Expert SQL and strong dimensional data modelling skills.
• Built metrics and data products used by other teams.
• ETL and data warehouse or lakehouse experience, end-to-end onboarding.
• Precision over speed when two priorities conflict.
• Consultant mindset: map processes to business value.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Treasury, Reconciliation and Accounting teams on processes and data needs.
• Build out treasury data: positions, cash flows and liquidity as trusted data products.
• Build and scale reconciliation so matches, breaks and exceptions are systematic.
• Support Accounting with data, checks and integrations behind close and daily work.
• Support corporate finance data partner on reporting from a shared model.
• Design and evolve the Finance data model, metrics and lineage with tests.
• Set data standards and quality checks, and integrate with Finance systems.
• Bring automation and agents into workflows to remove recurring manual work.
• Assess Finance processes and connect data work to business value.
