Job summary

Cortech Talent Solutions is seeking a Senior Electronics/Analogue Electronics Design Engineer in Leatherhead, UK. Hybrid work arrangement.

Primary duties include owning end-to-end electronics design for scientific instruments, from schematic capture to production, including EOL and compliance activities. The candidate should have 5+ years in electronics/hardware, strong analogue/digital/mixed-signal PCB layout, and hands-on experience with Altium Designer.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in professional electronics/hardware design.
• Experience with analogue, digital and mixed-signal circuits.
• Experience owning end-to-end PCB designs and EOL activities.
• Familiarity with regulatory and EMC/Safety testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain electronic hardware for instruments.
• Own PCB designs end-to-end from concept to production and EOL.
• Lead regulatory compliance activities and documentation.
• Collaborate to define electrical requirements and traceability.
• Support transition to manufacturing with DFM/DFT reviews.
• Generate design history files, schematics, and BOMs.
• Suggest process and interface improvements for quality.
