Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an Assistant Plant Manager for the 2nd shift to plan, direct and coordinate aluminum extrusion production in a cost-conscious, quality-focused environment. You will drive recovery, ensure on-time shipments and optimize die setup and maintenance.

Requirements include 5–7 years in production management and a bachelor’s degree; strong leadership and safety focus are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in production management.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and short communications.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate production and processing of aluminum extrusions.
• Ensure supplies, materials, labor and equipment are used efficiently to meet targets.
• Focus on production recovery to minimize waste and adjust work orders as needed.
• Review schedules and orders to determine inventory, staffing and procedures within budget and time constraints.
• Participate in production meetings and coordinate shipping schedules to meet customer demands.
• Support setup, performance and maintenance of dies used in production; resolve production issues.
