David Leslie Ltd is recruiting a Lead Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to deliver air conditioning and heat pump installations within defence and secure government environments. The role covers commissioning and handover with no domestic work or on-call rota, and includes paid door-to-door travel, overtime, and a company vehicle.

You will join experienced engineers and Project Managers, taking ownership on allocated sites while developing colleagues.

Qualifications

• NVQ in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning required.
• F-Gas Category 1 certification required.
• At least three years' post-qualification installation experience.
• Experience with air conditioning, heat pumps and split/VRF/VRV systems.
• Confidence reading drawings and completing commissioning and handover activities.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel/work away.
• IPAF, PASMA, CSCS and First Aid qualifications are advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Install and commission split, multi-split and VRF/VRV systems.
• Interpret drawings and install associated pipework, containment and supports.
• Support installation of controls and leak-detection systems.
• Organise materials, equipment and work for engineers and site labour.
• Maintain safe working practices and handover records.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, clients and other trades to maintain progress.
