Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is seeking an experienced AI Security Engineering Lead to design and deliver secure engineering patterns, controls, and tooling that protect AI/ML systems. This hands-on technical leadership role requires you to work directly on code, automation, and platform design while guiding teams and embedding best practices across AI security engineering.

You will champion secure architectures, promote secure-by-design principles, and operate in a hybrid environment across multiple UK

Qualifications

• Experience as a senior security engineer and leading engineering initiatives in a DevSecOps environment.
• Strong expertise securing AI and ML systems at scale including model lifecycle security, data pipelines and secure deployment.
• Hands-on experience with ML stacks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, MLflow, Kubeflow or equivalents (Vertex AI/Azure ML).
• Solid understanding of cloud-native and containerised architectures, including Kubernetes and serverless technologies.
• Experience in complex hybrid environments spanning public/private/on-premise clouds.
• Experience building automation and tooling using Python, Go or similar languages.
• Certifications such as CISSP/CCSP or cloud security accreditations are a plus.
