Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Lead AI/ML Engineer to drive analytics and decision-making in the leisure, travel & tourism sector. You will shape data-driven strategies, build forecasting and predictive models, and deploy them in Databricks/Azure environments.

Responsibilities include translating business challenges into AI solutions and presenting insights to diverse stakeholders while collaborating with data, engineering and technology teams.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Data Science, ML or Predictive Analytics.
• Forecasting and predictive modelling expertise.
• Advanced Python skills with common ML libraries.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with Databricks and Spark environments.
• Translate business requirements into practical AI/ML solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders.
• Problem-solving with a consultative mindset.
• Independent work style with collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders to translate challenges into AI solutions.
• Design, build and deploy ML models for forecasting and optimization.
• Develop solutions for demand, pricing, revenue and capacity planning.
• Work with Databricks and Azure environments.
• Build training, evaluation and monitoring processes for models.
• Advise on AI approaches for business use cases.
• Partner with data, engineering and tech teams to productionize solutions.
• Present insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to AI governance and best practices.
