Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Lead AI/ML Engineer to guide data-driven analytics initiatives within the leisure, travel and tourism sector. You will collaborate with business units to translate needs into robust AI/ML solutions and deploy models for forecasting and optimization.

The role requires strong Python, SQL and cloud-based analytics experience, with responsibility for production-ready deployments and stakeholder communication across teams.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in data science, ML or predictive analytics.
• Proven forecasting and predictive modelling expertise.
• Advanced Python skills with ML libraries.
• Strong SQL skills and data tooling experience.
• Experience with Databricks or Spark environments.
• Ability to translate business needs into AI/ML solutions.
• Experience communicating complex concepts to stakeholders.
• Capable of independent, cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to translate challenges into AI/ML solutions.
• Design, build and deploy ML models for forecasting and optimization.
• Develop solutions for demand, pricing, revenue and planning.
• Work with Databricks and Azure environments.
• Build model training, evaluation and monitoring processes.
• Advise on AI approaches for business use cases.
• Ensure production readiness and measurable value.
• Present insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contribute to AI governance and best practices.
