Job summary

DATAPAO is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join remotely in the UK as our first UK AI hire. You will own the technical delivery of AI solutions, lead engagements, and build production-grade AI applications on the Databricks platform for top clients.

You will work across architecture, delivery leadership, and client interfaces, collaborating with teams to drive business impact. The role requires 5+ years in AI/ML, strong Python skills, and familiarity with cloud data platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of AI/ML engineering experience focusing on cloud platforms.
• Strong Python and data science library knowledge.
• Experience delivering production AI solutions and client-facing projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery of AI solutions, solo or with a small team.
• Design high-level architectures and roadmaps for AI and GenAI solutions.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for customers and partners.
• Deliver workshops to enable client teams and scale AI platforms.
