Job summary

Redgate is seeking a hands-on technical leader to drive the next generation of AI capabilities for database administration. You’ll sit with a cross-functional team including a Tech Lead, Designer, Product Manager, and engineers, guiding architecture and delivery of agentic AI interfaces.

Based in Cambridge, this permanent role offers hybrid working (office presence twice a month) and a strong commitment to learning, career progression, and health benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, building, and operating scalable, resilient, and secure software systems.
• Proven track record of leading complex engineering work and cross-team collaboration.
• Proficiency in modern .NET/C#, Python, or TypeScript, with expertise in at least one.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-team engineering initiatives and influence technical strategy at the product level.
• Own the quality of engineering practice and coach others for growth.
• Drive agentic AI interfaces and integrate capabilities across Redgate’s product suite.
• Set and deliver goals alongside Tech Lead and Product Manager.
