Bupa is seeking a Lead AI & Data Security Architect to shape secure AI adoption across our UK footprint. The role partners with senior leaders to balance innovation with rigorous security and data protection in regulated healthcare contexts.

You will define standards, lead threat modelling, and drive governance for AI platforms, ML workloads and cloud services while engaging stakeholders across technology, legal and risk teams.

Qualificações

• Significant experience in security architecture, cyber security consulting or enterprise security leadership roles.
• Strong experience securing AI, machine learning and cloud-based services.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry and cloud security principles.
• Experience leading threat modelling, security architecture reviews and control design activities.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks including NIST CSF, NIST AI RMF, ISO 27001, ISO 42001 and OWASP AI security guidance.
• Experience working within highly regulated environments such as healthcare, financial services or government.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and supporting strategic decision making.
• Knowledge of UK GDPR and data protection requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Define security standards for AI adoption across Bupa.
• Lead threat modelling and security reviews for AI-enabled solutions.
• Develop governance frameworks and assurance processes for safe AI adoption.
• Set security requirements for AI platforms, APIs and cloud services.
• Identify and manage risks from unauthorised AI usage.
• Provide guidance on AI security and emerging threats.
• Collaborate with technology, data, legal and risk teams to embed security in AI initiatives.
• Present security recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Assess AI suppliers and third-party solutions from a security perspective.
• Contribute to security standards and reference architectures.
