Job summary

Rentokil Initial is seeking a technically hands-on leader to head AI engineering within the Group AI Team. You will design agentic systems, drive production-grade AI solutions, and mentor engineers across the organisation, closely collaborating with data and product teams to scale AI capabilities globally.

The role emphasizes deep expertise in LLM orchestration, MLOps pipelines, and cloud platforms, with a focus on safety, governance, and scalable delivery across regions.

Qualifications

• Expert-level experience building complex LLM-powered systems and multi-agent workflows.
• Deep practical understanding of ML algorithms and NLP for enterprise deployment.
• Proven ability to design optimized ELT/ETL pipelines and cloud data architectures.
• Experience with MLOps pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and scalable deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design Agentic Systems and scale robust multi-agent workflows.
• Establish engineering excellence with coding standards and reviews.
• Integrate with GCP data and AI platforms (Vertex AI, GKE).
• Implement AI safety, guardrails, latency monitoring.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead technical delivery to production operations.
• Drive MVPs to production for global users and scale.
• Shape AI strategy and tool selection across the org.
