Job summary

Matchtech is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to support its Electronic Systems Engineering leadership team in Rochester on a 12-month contract. The role involves leading complex engineering projects, supporting aerospace programmes and delivering innovative solutions for global customers.

Qualifications

• Significant engineering project management experience in aerospace/defence or related engineering sectors.
• Solid grasp of project lifecycles, delivery strategies, budgets and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to lead technically and make informed engineering decisions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering projects through the full lifecycle from strategy to delivery.
• Ensure products/services meet timelines, budgets and compliance requirements.
• Provide technical direction and manage project trade-offs.
• Collaborate with global customers, suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Act as the main engineering contact for stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement with innovative engineering practices.
