Matchtech Group's client in the defence sector seeks an Engineering Project Manager to support the Electronic Systems Engineering leadership team in Rochester. • Strong understanding of project lifecycles, delivery strategies, budgets and compliance requirements.
• Experience providing technical leadership and making informed engineering decisions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering projects through the full project lifecycle, from execution strategy through to delivery.
• Ensure compliant products and services are delivered on time and within agreed budgets.
• Provide technical direction, make key engineering decisions and manage project trade-offs.
• Work collaboratively with global customers, suppliers and cross-functional teams to deliver project objectives and requirements.
• Act as the primary engineering point of contact for project stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement through the introduction of innovative engineering practices, solutions and technologies.
• Guide and support team members while promoting a collaborative, high-performance working environment.

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of aerospace engineering products, systems or programmes
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with global customers, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong problem-solving, organisational and continuous improvement skills

Contract Details:

• 12-month contract
• Based in Rochester
• Hybrid working arrangement, with three days on site
