Job summary

Porvair Filtration Group seeks a Design Engineer to own the full product development journey from customer requirements to manufacture and installation. You will lead concept development, apply advanced engineering principles, and act as the focal point for FEA and CFD analysis to deliver high-performance filtration solutions.

Qualifications

Mechanical engineering degree required with knowledge of fluid mechanics and pressure systems.
Competent in Autodesk CFD.
Experience with precision machined components within the Aerospace Industry.
Strong technical report writing and hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

Analyse products to ensure design integrity and performance.
Lead FEA/CFD analysis and provide technical support.
Act as deputy for Engineering Manager.
Monitor project costs to meet budgets.
Provide technical support to sales, production and quality teams.
Communicate with customers and subcontractors.
