Job summary

Kingdom Services Group is seeking an experienced Principal Mechanical Engineer - Aerospace in Fareham. You will own aerospace product designs from customer requirements through to manufacture and installation, acting as the technical authority for FEA and CFD.

You will lead analyses, drive design reviews, and provide expert guidance to Production and Quality teams while collaborating with Sales and customers to resolve engineering challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level or higher in Mechanical Engineering with aerospace experience.
• Experience in aerospace environments and with precision-machined aerospace components.
• Strong understanding of fluid mechanics and pressure systems.
• Proven capability to carry out FEA and CFD analysis.
• Ability to produce clear and detailed technical reports.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Own aerospace product design from customer requirements through manufacture and installation.
• Lead FEA/CFD analyses and ensure design integrity and performance.
• Act as technical focal point for FEA/CFD guidance across engineering teams.
• Contribute to technical design reviews and MRB decisions.
• Provide support to Production, Quality and Sales teams and liaise with customers.
