Job summary

Kingdom People - Professional Services is seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer – Aerospace for Fareham. You will own the product design from customer specifications through to manufacture and installation, and act as the technical focal point for FEA/CFD within the business.

As a senior engineer, you will provide guidance to Production and Quality, deputise for the Engineering Manager when required and work closely with customers on complex engineering challenges, with occasional

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in aerospace design and manufacturing
• Proven FEA/CFD analysis experience
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Own product design from customer requirements through to manufacture and installation
• Perform FEA/CFD analyses to verify performance
• Act as focal point for FEA/CFD guidance
• Lead design reviews across the project lifecycle
• Support Production, Quality and Sales teams
• Deputise for Engineering Manager when required
• Work with customers to resolve engineering challenges
• Monitor costs against budgets and targets
