Job summary

NHS Scotland invites applications for an experienced Bank Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join the Primary Care Services team within Argyll & Bute HSCP. The post involves autonomous and collaborative clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing and management of undifferentiated and long-term conditions across Primary Care and Urgent Care pathways.

You will provide expert clinical decision-making, lead within the nursing team, and contribute to service development, quality improvement

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Advanced Practice or PgDip required.
• Extensive post-registration nursing experience essential.
• Registration on Part 1 of the NMC Register is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced clinical assessments and diagnostics.
• Provide autonomous and collaborative care within multidisciplinary teams.
• Prescribe appropriately and manage patient treatment plans.
• Lead and develop the nursing team and contribute to governance and service development.
