Shift Details: Standard Shift. To support major incidents (priority) during out-of-office hours when needed. Candidates should be located closer to Warwick.
No of Days: Work From Office, at least 2 days for the initial few months.

Knowledge and Qualifications Required:
- This role suits candidates with operational experience in IP/MPLS/Ethernet/SDH networks, ideally in a Utilities environment.
- Ability to manage all resources required to run best-in-class network & telemetry operations.
- Ensure outsourced services and partners deliver high standards.
- Experience managing outsourced services in an ITIL environment, setting direction, control, and standards, preferably in operational network environments.
- Strong knowledge of network, telemetry, and SCADA infrastructure technologies.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and fault finding.
- Understanding of security and external regulations impacting operational networks.
- Experience managing critical major incidents out of hours, participating in an out-of-hours rota.
- Candidate must achieve SC security vetting clearance and be educated to degree level in computing or relevant engineering discipline.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL Practitioner, CCNA/DA, CCNP, Security) are desirable.
Key Tasks:
- Act as a focal point for business service liaison (including projects and service transition).
- Manage resources, including third-party providers, for operational management of CNI SCADA and networks, ensuring resilience, safety, and security.
- Coordinate with IS, the business, and third-party stakeholders on network changes to ensure safety and operational integrity.
- Collaborate with Audit, Security, and government organizations to ensure compliance with policies and standards for critical CNI networks.
- Participate in incident management on CNI networks to restore resilience swiftly.
- Lead root cause analyses to prevent reoccurrence of issues.
- Manage the annual budget and track actuals against plans.
- Ensure disaster recovery plans are in place and tested.
