Job Description

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to analyse, identify, rectify & recommend specific improvement measures that help in the security posture of the organization by protecting sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring customer centricity by providing apt cybersecurity solutions.
• Monitoring and safeguarding log sources and security access.
• Planning for disaster recovery in case of security breaches.
• Monitoring for attacks, intrusions, and unusual or illegal activities.
• Performing log reviews and forensic analysis to identify unauthorized access.
• Conducting security assessments, risk, and root cause analyses.
• Handling security incidents escalated by the L1 team in rotational shifts.
• Using analytics tools to identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
• Completing tactical security operations tasks.
• Analyzing attacks and providing remedial actions.
• Creating reports and dashboards based on incident analysis.
• Stakeholder Coordination & Audit Support
• Liaising with stakeholders regarding cybersecurity issues and providing recommendations.
• Maintaining security risk registers and assisting with audits.
• Supporting cybersecurity awareness training for colleagues.
• Providing guidance on spam and malicious emails.

• Customer satisfaction through timely security breach solutions.
• Adherence to SLAs (90-95%) and response/resolution times.
