Job summary

Lifeways Group in Newcastle upon Tyne is looking for a confident, driven Team Leader to help shape outstanding Supported Living services. This full-time role includes leadership responsibilities and a rotational on-call commitment, with driver essential.

You will lead a team of Support Workers, collaborate with the Service Manager, and champion person-centred care to achieve positive outcomes while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Experience leading or supervising in a care or supported living environment.
• A natural leader with energy, resilience, and heart.
• Flexible, organised, and ready to step up when it matters.
• Passionate about helping people live independent, fulfilling lives.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and support a team of Support Workers.
• Work alongside the Service Manager to keep services running smoothly.
• Champion person-centred care and positive outcomes.
• Make sure standards, safety, and quality are never compromised.
• Drive continuous improvement and set the tone for excellence.
• Take part in a 24-hour rotational on-call rota.
