You will be teaching a small class of just five secondary-aged students, supported by a Teaching Assistant and HLTA. The pupils have severe learning difficulties (SLD) and require a highly personalised approach to learning, communication and emotional regulation. The curriculum is centred around sensory-based learning, communication and developing independence, with a strong focus on meeting each pupil's individual needs and abilities.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing progress and adapting learning to ensure every pupil can access the curriculum and make meaningful progress.
