Job summary

The Citywide Learning Disability Service at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) offers a 9-12 month Band 7 Registered Manager secondment at 144, Manchester. The post leads a nurse-led respite service providing short breaks for adults with learning disabilities and complex behaviours.

You will supervise a small multi-disciplinary team, coordinate care with families, and develop service leadership and quality improvements while ensuring safe, person-centred care in a NHS setting.

Qualifications

• Registered Professional or CQC Registered Manager.
• Experience with adults with learning disabilities.
• Masters level or equivalent of significant relevant experience.
• Advanced leadership and managerial qualification.

Responsibilities

• Operationally manage the service providing short breaks and some outreach support.
• Lead a team of nurses and support workers delivering care.
• Oversee day-to-day management in a CQC-regulated service.
• Coordinate care with individuals and families to meet complex needs.
