Job summary

HP4 RECRUITMENT LTD is seeking skilled Vehicle Technicians for full-time, permanent roles within leading UK vehicle hire and fleet management groups. The position focuses on maintenance, servicing, and repair of light commercial vehicles and vans to ensure fleet reliability for a broad customer base.

The role offers Monday to Friday hours with optional overtime, ongoing training, and clear career progression in a large national business. Modern workshops and up-to-date equipment are provided.

Qualifications

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (preferred).
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vans and light commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
• Complete MOT preparation and general inspections.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard in line with manufacturer guidelines.
• Accurately complete job cards, service records, and compliance paperwork.
• Work efficiently to meet productivity and workshop targets.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
