Job summary

HP4 RECRUITMENT LTD is seeking a Vehicle Technician to service and repair vans across a Leicester site. You will diagnose faults, perform servicing and MOT prep, and ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with optional overtime, a competitive salary, and routes for career progression within a national business. Experience with light commercial vehicles is highly valued.

Qualifications

Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair is preferred.
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / LCV Technician.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Experience working on vans or commercial vehicles is highly desirable.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on vans and light commercial vehicles.
Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment.
Complete MOT preparation and general inspections.
Ensure work meets manufacturer guidelines.
Accurate completion of job cards, service records, and compliance paperwork.
Work efficiently to meet workshop targets.
Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly working environment.
