Job summary

HP4 Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a leading UK vehicle hire and fleet management business to recruit skilled Vehicle Technicians to join their expanding team across sites nationwide.

This role focuses on maintenance, servicing and repair of light commercial vehicles (LCV) and vans, with a competitive salary and a Monday–Friday schedule plus overtime options. You’ll receive ongoing training and clear career progression within a large national business.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (preferred).
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / LCV Technician.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Experience working on vans or commercial vehicles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vans and light commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
• Complete MOT preparation and general inspections.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard in line with manufacturer guidelines.
• Accurately complete job cards, service records, and compliance paperwork.
• Work efficiently to meet productivity and workshop targets.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
