Job summary

Octane Recruitment is recruiting a Van Technician / LCV Technician in Wallasey. The role involves servicing and maintaining vans, diagnosing electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults, and performing warranty work within brand guidelines.

Candidates must hold a Full UK driving license and have NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 3 (or Level 2 with main dealership experience). A49 0r similar ro0tational schedule applies, with potential overtime and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 3 preferred; Level 2 considered with main dealership experience.
• Previous van experience is required.
• Full UK driving license is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles (van/LCV).
• Electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, including warranty work within brand parameters.
• Perform MOT testing duties if qualified and as applicable.

Days: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm, Saturday mornings on a rota

Role

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles
• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, including warranty approved work in line with our brand parameters
• Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties (if qualified)

Requirements

• Full UK driving license
• NVQ, IMI or City and Guilds level 3 or equivalent – ideally but will consider level 2 with main dealership experience
• Previous experience working on vans is needed
