Job summary

Octane Recruitment seeks a qualified LCV Technician in Southampton to service vans and light commercial vehicles in a busy workshop.

You will perform planned maintenance, diagnose faults with specialist equipment, and ensure work is logged accurately while upholding high safety and roadworthiness standards. UK driving licence and Level 3 qualification are required.

Qualifications

• LCV/LCV maintenance qualification required.
• Strong hands-on experience in servicing, inspections, diagnostics and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Complete planned maintenance, inspections and servicing on vans and LCVs in a workshop.
• Identify and repair mechanical, electrical and technical faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Carry out repairs to a high standard, ensuring vehicles remain safe and roadworthy.
• Complete job records accurately and work with the workshop team.

LCV Technician / Mechanic role with a Level 3 qualification for a leading vehicle rental specialist, working on a wide range of vans and light commercial vehicles. Great salary, benefits, overtime, and bonus opportunities.

up to £20.33 per hour, overtime opportunities, and regular salary review

LCV Technician Requirements

• Relevant light vehicle, LCV or commercial vehicle maintenance qualification, and strong hands-on experience in a similar role
• Good working knowledge of servicing, inspections, diagnostics and repairs on vans and light commercial vehicles
