Job summary

Octane Recruitment seeks an LCV Technician to perform maintenance and diagnostic tasks on vans/LCVs in a busy workshop. The role demands thorough fault finding, high workmanship, and strict safety standards.

You will complete inspections, service routines and keep accurate job records while coordinating with the workshop team. The position offers overtime opportunities and a clear path for technical development.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in light vehicle maintenance.

Responsibilities

LCV Technician / Mechanic role with a Level 3 qualification for a leading vehicle rental specialist, working on a wide range of vans and light commercial vehicles. Great salary, benefits, overtime, and bonus opportunities.

LCV Technician Requirements

• Relevant light vehicle, LCV or commercial vehicle maintenance qualification, and strong hands-on experience in a similar role
• Good working knowledge of servicing, inspections, diagnostics and repairs on vans and light commercial vehicles

LCV Technician role:

• Complete planned maintenance, inspections and servicing on vans and LCVs within a workshop environment
• Identify and repair mechanical, electrical and technical faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment
• Carry out repairs to a high standard, ensuring vehicles remain safe, compliant and roadworthy
• Complete job records accurately, work closely with the workshop team and maintain high standards of workmanship
