Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd is representing a leading vehicle rental company in Sheffield seeking an experienced LCV Technician. The role requires 4+ years working on vans, Level 3 qualification, and a full UK driving licence. You will service, diagnose faults, and carry out MOT tasks if qualified.

Salary up to £36,730 basic plus £1,500 sign-on and overtime at 1.25x; DOE. Great career progression opportunities with in-house training and a structured 5-stage plan to Master Technician level.

Qualifications

• Must have NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds or Mechanical Engineering Level 3 (or equivalent).
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
• Proof of qualification available on interview request.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles.
• Electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair including warranty work.
• MOT testing duties (if qualified).
