Job summary

Adams Morey, brand-new dealership in Andover, is seeking an experienced LCV & HGV Technician to join a new workshop team. The role involves servicing, diagnosing, and repairing light and heavy commercial vehicles with modern equipment and manufacturer technology.

Ideal candidates will have Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a busy team, with a UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an LCV and/or HGV Technician.
• A recognised Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a busy workshop team.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• A full UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable but not essential).
• A positive attitude and willingness to continue learning and developing.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on light and heavy commercial vehicles.
• Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and electronic faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
• Completing MOT preparation and inspections.
• Undertaking warranty repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintaining accurate job records and completing all associated paperwork.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
• Working collaboratively with the workshop team to deliver excellent customer service.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.
