The Role:

Our client, a highly regarded leading law firm within renewables, is looking for an Associate to join their Projects team in their Bristol office. This hire is in response to the adoption of decarbonisation as a key theme in their Transformational strategy. The successful candidate will have a focus on the renewable energy sector but will also be involved in various infrastructure projects and transactions.

The ideal candidate will have experience in energy projects and transactions and possess a keen interest in renewables.

Their Projects team manages the full project lifecycle, from initial project setup and acquisition to development, financing, operations, and exit. Technologies they work with include solar, wind, storage, biomass, energy-from-waste, green hydrogen, and electric vehicle charging.

Beyond energy, the team is active in the infrastructure sector, with expertise in education, universities, healthcare, rail, roads, airports, and related transport infrastructure.
