Job Description

A commercial law firm in Bristol is seeking to recruit two non-contentious Construction lawyers. One candidate should have 0 to 1 year of PQE, and the other 4 or more years. The team specializes in clean energy projects and handles matters such as:

  1. BESS/Solar Supply Agreements and EPC contracts
  2. O&Ms & LTSAs
  3. Component Warranties
  4. Clean energy project developments, acquisitions, and disposals
  5. Technologies including BESS, solar PV, wind, hydro, energy-from waste, biogas, hydrogen, EV charging infrastructure, and district heating are advantageous.

The firm's clients include world-renowned battery manufacturers and integrators involved in complex transactions across the UK and Europe. The successful candidates will work on a broad range of clean energy projects, including drafting documents (bespoke, FIDIC/MF/1 forms) and negotiating relevant forms. Candidates with existing construction and/or project experience, particularly in renewables or with a keen interest in transitioning into clean energy workstreams, are preferred. Newly-qualified candidates should have completed a seat in either Construction or Projects law.
