Job summary

Recruitable Staffing Driving are recruiting a Van Driver for a full-time, temp-to-perm position based in Woolwich. The role involves driving a long-wheelbase manual van and completing laundry deliveries and collections across multiple customer sites.

This is a physical, customer-facing role involving regular loading and unloading. Hours are Monday to Friday, typically 40 hours per week, with start between 5:00am and 6:00am and finish between 1:00pm and 2:00pm.

Qualifications

• Be aged 21 or over.
• Hold a full UK manual driving licence.
• Have held their driving licence for at least 12 months.
• Have no more than three penalty points.
• Have no DD or IN driving conviction codes.
• Be comfortable driving a long-wheelbase van.
• Be physically able to complete loading, unloading and manual handling.
• Be reliable, punctual and professional.
• Have good communication and customer-service skills.
• Previous van-driving or multi-drop experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive a long-wheelbase manual van.
• Complete multi-site deliveries and collections across customer sites.
• Deliver and collect laundry from customer locations.
• Load and unload the vehicle.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks.
• Ensure deliveries are on time and safely completed.
• Complete required delivery documentation.
• Provide professional customer service.
