Job summary

SourceCo Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Van Driver for a temporary-to-permanent role in Tewkesbury. You will deliver products to customers across the UK, with routes typically involving 13-17 deliveries across up to 7 locations and occasional days of around 300 miles.

Bulky items require physical handling; a clean driving licence and experience with PDA/scanning systems are essential. Hours are Monday to Friday, start times around 5:15am–7:30am, with long shifts of about 9.5 hours and

Qualifications

• Recent van driving or delivery experience.
• Experience with multi-drop deliveries.
• Familiar with PDA/scanning systems and proof of delivery.
• Clean driving licence.
• Ability to handle bulky items.
• Reliability and flexibility for early starts.
• Experience with courier companies is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Safely driving a van/Sprinter on nationwide delivery routes
• Completing approximately 13-17 deliveries per day
• Delivering to multiple locations depending on the route
• Loading and unloading products safely
• Using a PDA/scanning system to manage deliveries
• Capturing accurate proof of delivery
• Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
• Completing vehicle checks
• Following company health & safety procedures
