Job summary

Driver Hire Nottingham is recruiting a Van Driver for a Grantham location on a temp-to-perm basis. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday with no weekend work, based at the client's Grantham depot and involving multi-drop deliveries of laundry to restaurants, hotels and other businesses.

Ideal candidates hold a full UK driving licence with up to 6 points, have van driving experience, and can load/unload cages while providing good customer service.

Responsibilities

Job description

Driver Hire Nottingham & Newark are currently recruiting for a Van Driver to join one of our well-established clients based in Grantham on a temp-to-perm basis.

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position with no weekend work, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role

As a Van Driver, you will be based at the client's Grantham depot, delivering and collecting laundry from a range of customers, including:

• Restaurants
• Hotels
• Larger commercial customers

The role involves multi-drop deliveries and collections, along with loading and unloading the van yourself. The job includes regular cage work, so you must be comfortable with manual handling.

Hours & Pay

• Monday to Friday
• Start times between 6:00am and 7:00am
• No weekends
• £12.71 per hour
• Overtime paid daily after 8 hours
• Overtime rate: £19.06 per hour
• Temp-to-perm opportunity
• Full-time permanent position available for the right candidate

Requirements

• A full UK driving licence
• 6 points or fewer on your licence
• Right to work in the UK
• Previous van driving experience
• A reliable and professional approach
