Job summary

JLA Limited is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and repair catering and laundry equipment across customer sites in the Leeds area. The role requires a full UK driving licence and a proactive, customer‑facing approach to ensure on‑time, compliant service delivery.

You will visit care homes, hotels and other premises, perform safe repairs, document work, and contribute to growth by identifying potential upgrades and sales opportunities.

Qualifications

• Skilled in repairing and servicing catering and laundry equipment.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing and mechanical work.
• Proficient level of computer skills.
• Good knowledge of the English language, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair equipment as directed by the Operations Support team.
• Carry out comprehensive, competent, and safe repairs to customer and Company satisfaction.
• Identify and submit engineer leads for upgrades and other potential sales business.
• Drive the implementation of engineering best practice processes, procedures and tools.
• Ensure service delivery SLAs are met in collaboration with Operations teams.
• Maintain health & safety compliance.
