Job summary

JLA Limited is recruiting a Field Service Engineer to join a busy, customer-facing team serving care homes, hotels, restaurants, schools and government buildings across the UK.

You will diagnose and repair catering and laundry equipment, drive service excellence, and report work with signatures while ensuring safety and compliance. A full UK driving licence, Gas Safe and 17th Edition are preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing white goods equipment.
• Experience in a customer-facing role.
• Ability to manage challenging situations.
• Gas Safe accreditation.
• 17th Edition electrical certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair catering and laundry equipment.
• Carry out safe repairs to the customer’s satisfaction.
• Identify selling opportunities for upgrades.
• Leave site clean and tidy.
• Complete reports and obtain customer signatures.
• Drive engineering best practice processes.
• Manage van stocks and tooling.
• Support growth by submitting lead opportunities.
