Job summary

Heckfield Place in Hampshire is seeking a Laundry Assistant to join our Housekeeping team. You will operate washers, dryers and irons, inspect uniforms daily, and support linen management to ensure high standards of guest laundry.

Qualifications

• Experience operating laundry equipment (washers, dryers, irons).
• Experience with linen handling and cleaning of laundry area.

Responsibilities

• Inspect uniforms daily for repair, replacement and damage.
• Assist in the monthly linen stock take.
• Operate laundry machinery such as washers, driers and irons.
• Carry out daily and scheduled cleaning of machines and laundry room.
• Ensure the washing of linen and uniform are as per standard.
• Ensure prompt collection and delivery of Guests Laundry.
• Perform other duties and services as assigned by the Executive housekeeper.
• Aim to work to the best of your ability and set an example to other staff.
• Meet high standards of personal grooming and hygiene in line with Heckfield Place.
• Be a member of a team dedicated to providing the best in quality and service.
• Always ensure courteous and professional service.
