Key Role Responsibilities/Duties for a House Laundry Assistant:

• To assist in the delivery of high quality, customer focused laundry services within a designated area on Ben’s premises.
• To receive laundry into the laundry including bed linen, towels, and residents' personal clothing, using industrial washing machines and dryers. Press using rollers and heated ironing boards.
• Using chemicals including de-stainers.
• Keeping clean and dirty designated areas tidy and safe.
• To maintain supplies and report any issues/faults with the machines.
• To participate in the implementation of quality assurance programmes within the laundry service as required.
• To work within the required Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards and Ben policies and procedures at all times.
• To undertake any other duties specified from time to time by the Hotel Services Manager/Housekeeping Team Leader.

Hours of Work for a House Laundry Assistant:

2-week rota every other weekend off, 9am – 5pm.

Salary for a Laundry Assistant:

£12.36 per hour
