ABOUT OUR ROLE

As a Laundry Assistant, you’ll be responsible for providing laundry services for our residents, including operating commercial washing, drying, and finishing machinery. You’ll ensure the laundry area remains safe, clean, and tidy at all times, and that all laundry is processed efficiently and promptly.

Some residents enjoy participating in simple laundry tasks, so you may occasionally receive extra help during your routines.

Langford View is a 60-bed Care Home in Bicester, offering residential, nursing, early-stage dementia, and respite care in a comfortable, homely environment.

ABOUT YOU

You should be comfortable working in an elderly care setting, with the ability to relate to residents in a caring and sensitive manner.

If you have previous housekeeping experience, that’s a plus. However, if you’re new to housekeeping, we’ll provide all necessary training. We value pride in your work, good communication skills, teamwork, eagerness to learn, and a commitment to excel every day.
