Your new company

You will be working with a leading university based in East London, within their Estates and Facilities department. The team is responsible for providing a safe and efficient working environment for all university staff and students. EAF manages all building services and the strategic development of the estate, contributing to the delivery of the university's strategic and operational objectives.

Your new role

• External cleaning: of the university premises, including litter-picking, sweeping, and possible pressure washing.
• Waste management: of bins across the campus and the main bin area. Must ensure there is no overflow of bins. All waste is emptied into the correct large bin containers which will be labelled.
• Laundry assistance: help to take delivery of clean laundry (bedsheets and towels) for student accommodation and summer school. Deliver all clean laundry to the correct campus accommodation buildings, and remove all dirty laundry. Dirty laundry must be put into trolleys, and put into containers to send for washing.
