Job summary

The Pokémon Company International seeks a Licensing Coordinator to develop Pokémon licensed products and drive retail presence worldwide. You will work closely with CPA and Retail Marketing teams to create compelling product lines and promotions across multiple markets.

Responsibilities include licensee relationship management, contract negotiations, and collaboration with global teams to execute licensing plans that support revenue targets.

Qualifications

  • Three (3) to four (4) years of relevant professional experience or demonstrated equivalent level of expertise.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of success.
  • Languages: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Latin American Spanish, at near-native level.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and ability to interact with diverse teams.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent negotiation, deal structuring and analytical skills.
  • Proven experience with revenue/profit modeling and sound business judgment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing licensees for all product categories.
  • Manage contract negotiation with existing and new licensees.
  • Collaborate with CPA team on product development, range planning, brainstorms and development for Buyers and End-consumers in the territory.
  • Lead conception of additional creative assets with external agencies.
  • Coordinate with London and Seattle teams to ensure smooth licensing program implementation.
  • Develop strategic recommendations and implement licensing plans to hit revenue targets.
  • Assist with annual budget creation and financial planning.
  • Research products and brands for new opportunities and prepare strategic plans.
  • Assist with marketing materials, promotional events and licensing presentations.
  • Manage retail budget for Licensed Products in the region.
  • Serve as key point of contact to Retail partners.
  • Develop and execute trade marketing programs for Licensed Products in the region.
  • Create marketing materials and tools with internal teams.
  • Identify potential key partners for promotions in the territory.
  • Oversee account management and ensure campaigns are delivered on time.
