Job summary

Trinity Industrial in Nottingham is seeking two experienced Laser Cutters to join our growing production team. You will be responsible for setting up and operating laser cutting machinery, producing high‑quality components to engineering drawings while meeting production, quality and safety standards.

This permanent, full‑time role offers 40 hours per week with a pay rate of £15.00‑£17.00 per hour (including shift allowance), plus overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating laser cutting machinery.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Experience using verniers, micrometers and measuring gauges.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with CNC laser cutting, sheet metal manufacturing, FLT or overhead crane operation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor laser cutting machines.
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and production documentation.
• Carry out machine adjustments and tooling changes.
• Perform quality inspections using measuring equipment.
• Complete production records accurately.
• Carry out basic machine maintenance and maintain a clean work area.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives.
