Job summary

Lansdowne Primary Academy, part of the Gateway Learning Community in Tilbury, is seeking a Class Teacher on a permanent, full-time basis. The role offers progression on the Teachers Main Pay Scale and is aimed at experienced teachers or early careers teachers with a passion for learning.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality lessons across the curriculum, supporting pupil progress while engaging in continuous professional development within a vibrant, inclusive learning community.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will be an experienced teacher with excellent subject knowledge and a thorough understanding of the current curriculum or an early careers teacher with enthusiasm and a passion to learn.
• Candidates will need to evidence a committed approach to ensuring that all pupils under their care, regardless of ability, have the opportunity to make excellent progress.

Lansdowne Primary Academy is part of the Gateway Learning Community [GLC] which is a partnership between one secondary and four primary schools located within Tilbury and Chadwell in the borough of Thurrock to the east of London.
