Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited in Filton, Bristol, is offering an undergraduate placement year in industry focused on landing gear avionics and flight test analysis. You will design and conduct tests on fuel and landing gear avionics test benches and support flight test analysis activities.

The team collaborates across Europe and aircraft systems, delivering development testing and design feedback for future aircraft. This internship provides hands-on experience in a product-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Studying towards a degree in Engineering or Science.
• Data analysis, report writing and presentation skills.
• Knowledge or experience of Programming and Programming languages (e.g. C, Python, TCL, Matlab, Google Apps Script).
• Excited by technical challenges and solving problems.
• Committed to deliver on time.
• Good interpersonal skills and capable of working as a team.

Responsibilities

• Support aircraft certification through integrated rig and flight testing and analysis.
• Establish and improve the maturity of aircraft systems through the collaboration with other engineering teams.
• React to and help resolve in-service system issues.
• Aim for product safety beyond certification requirements.
• Implement synergies and alignment between rig and flight test.
